My Story

From a hospital bed to your corner.

I spent two years unable to walk, speak, or think clearly. I rebuilt from zero. Now I coach the people who feel forgotten — veterans, diabetics, men and women carrying setbacks they don’t talk about.

The Mission

“If you can fight your way back from the edge, you can build a life — and help others do the same.”

That sentence isn’t a tagline. It’s the only reason this business exists.

I’m the founder of Kingdom X Fitness, a Marine Corps veteran and certified personal trainer. I’m not here to sell you abs or a 30-day challenge. I’m here because I know what it feels like to lose everything that made you you — your strength, your speech, your cognition, your dignity — and I know what it takes to claw it back. That walk is the methodology. Everything else is just the delivery system.

The Two Years That Built This

What happens when the body and mind go dark.

I spent two years in a hospital bed. I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t speak. I lost the cognitive skills most people take for granted — reading, processing, holding a thought long enough to finish it. I had to rebuild myself from nothing. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.

Nobody hands you a program for that. There’s no app for relearning your own name. You sit with the silence, the pain, and the question of whether you’re ever coming back — and then you decide.

I decided. Slowly. Badly at first. One rep. One word. One day.

That experience didn’t just change me. It gave me a purpose I couldn’t ignore. I know exactly what it feels like to be stuck, isolated, and unsure if you’ll ever come back. And I know what it takes to climb out.

Why This Exists

The gap nobody is filling.

Most fitness coaches treat the body and ignore the mind. Most therapists treat the mind and ignore the body. Motivational speakers give you a high on Friday and disappear by Monday. People stuck after trauma, illness, or a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis fall straight through the cracks.

I built Kingdom X Fitness to close that gap — one coaching system that integrates fitness, mindset, and accountability, delivered by someone who’s lived both sides of it.

This isn’t holistic-wellness language. It’s a Marine’s answer to a problem the industry pretends isn’t there.

Who I’m built to serve

  • Adults 28–55 stuck after a real setback — diagnosis, weight gain, divorce, depression, burnout.
  • Men and women quietly managing Type 2 diabetes who need fitness that respects the disease.
  • Veterans rebuilding after service — physically, mentally, or both.
  • Faith-driven people looking for discipline rooted in purpose, not in vanity.
  • Anyone who tried Noom, Planet Fitness, MyFitnessPal, or YouTube workouts and quit because nothing held them.
The Methodology

Body. Mind. Accountability. One system.

Three pillars, built from the hospital floor up. Each one exists because skipping it is the exact reason most people quit by week three.

PILLAR 01

Fitness

Workouts and nutrition guidance built for real bodies starting from real damage. Diabetes-aware programming. No flexed-mirror selfies. No gym membership required to start.

PILLAR 02

Mindset

Discipline-building frameworks. Kingdom mentality. The mental work I had to do from a hospital bed, distilled into a practice you can run on your worst day — not just your best.

PILLAR 03

Accountability

Weekly check-ins from a real human who’s been through the dark days. Not an algorithm. Not a chatbot. The thing every app you’ve quit was missing.

What I Bring To The Table

Credentials matter. Lived experience is the differentiator.

I bring formal training to the work — certified personal trainer, Marine Corps discipline, the structured coaching frameworks a serious client deserves. But the moat isn’t the certificate on the wall. It’s that when a client hits a wall, I don’t guess what they’re feeling. I’ve been there.

I’ve battled depression. I’ve managed diabetes. I’ve lived through family trauma and the kind of isolation that doesn’t make it into anyone’s highlight reel. That’s not a pitch. That’s the foundation this business is built on.

What clients get

  • A coach who understands the difference between motivation and discipline
  • Diabetes-safe programming with physician-coordination guardrails
  • Weekly accountability check-ins, not auto-sent app pings
  • Mindset work tied directly to physical training, not bolted on
  • Faith and purpose treated as fuel, not as decoration

What you won’t get

  • Influencer aesthetics or hype slogans
  • Cookie-cutter programs copied from a template
  • Surface-level “crush your goals” energy
  • A coach who only studied this in a textbook
  • A program built for someone you’re not
Values I Coach From

Honesty. Resilience. Nobody fights alone.

These aren’t inspirational poster lines. They’re the rules I operate by because I learned the hard way what happens when you don’t.

01

Honesty

I’ll tell you what’s actually wrong, what it’s costing you, and what the work will look like. No softening it. No selling around it.

02

Resilience

Not a buzzword. The literal practice of getting up, doing the rep, walking the step — especially on the days you don’t want to. That’s the whole game.

03

Nobody fights alone

The worst part of my hospital years was the silence. I built this practice so nobody trying to come back has to do it without a coach in their corner.

Where This Goes

I’m starting as a side project. I’m treating it with full intention.

Every client I serve, every stage I speak from, every story I share is another step in proving that struggle isn’t the end of the story — it’s the beginning of a stronger one.

The plan is straightforward: take on a small group of founding clients, do the work well, document the wins honestly, and grow from there. Group challenges. A signature program. Speaking engagements at churches, VFW posts, and corporate wellness teams. Eventually a community of people who used to feel forgotten, now leading others out.

If I can help even one person realize they’re capable of more than their circumstances tell them, I’ve done my job. And I plan to do it for many.
